Kom Ombo Temple
Having been picked up from your hotel in Aswan, driving along the course of the Nile passing by a fertile riverside plains. After a little over an hour’s drive, you will make the first stop of your day trip in Kom Ombo. The town is home to the ruins of a unique Egyptian temple, unusual for the fact that it is a double temple dedicated totwo different deities, Sobek (Crocodile head) and Horus (Falcon head), it also has 2 entrances each one dedicated to a deity. Inside the temple, you will be left speechless by its incredible hypostyle hall, which feels like entering a forest of elaborately engraved columns.

Lunch
Following a well-deserved break for lunch in a local restaurant in Kom Ombo, you will set off for the next part of your tour.

Edfu Temple
After lunch, we drive to reach Edfu which is a town about halfway between Aswan and Luxor, There you will visit the majestic temple of Edfu which dedicated to Falcon God Horus, this temple considered by most the only intact cult temple in Egypt and is therefore a very impressive sight.

We will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within Aswan hotels and Nile cruises. You can choose the exact location during the booking process. If it’s your hotel, your guide will be waiting for you at the hotel-lobby 10 minutes before departure, same goes to the cruise ships.
